  2. Refresh: an email-delivered sleep hygiene program, beginning 9/26. SIGN UP HERE!
  3. Flu Clinic: annual mass vaccination clinic, taking place 10/4-10/8 in Gimbel Gym.

PENN’S DECLASSIFIED SEX SURVIVAL GUIDE

What? A 6-week, email-delivered sexual health program.

Why?  Sex is part of so many of our students’ lives and everyone encounters thoughts and questions about sex and sexuality, yet so many students get insufficient sex education. Filling the gaps in sexual health knowledge and encouraging healthy sexual habits improves overall health and wellness and can support some of the burning sex-related questions our students may have.

When? Registration is open until September 20th. SIGN UP HERE!

Who? ALL students! We want any and all interested students to join this exciting new program!

Details:

This online sexual health program is a 6-week, self-paced sexual health program created by Wellness and reviewed by Penn staff and students! Program modules will be emailed to students every Wednesday for six weeks and offer information on a variety of sexuality-related topics. Some topics covered in the program include communication, healthy relationships, protection, and sexual health care.

Registration ends on September 20th. If you interact with students who are seeking more sexual-health information or could benefit from learning more about sex and sexual health, please refer them to our Sex Well page to sign-up!

REFRESH

What? Refresh! A 7-week cognitive behavioral sleep program.

Why? Sleep is important. Refresh is an evidenced based educational program with published results of decreased depressive symptoms and improvements in sleep quality.

When? Registration is now open, SIGN UP HERE!

Who? YOU. We are offering this intervention to students, faculty, AND staff. Please keep in mind it was specifically created for college students, but that doesn’t mean you won’t benefit.

Details:

Refresh is an evidence-based 7-week cognitive behavioral self-help program that originated at Stanford University and was implemented at several universities (University of Chicago, Dartmouth, and University of Iowa) over the past few years. Results have consistently shown a decrease in depressive symptoms and improvements in sleep quality. Campus Health’s Refresh program has helped almost 2000 Penn students improve their sleep quality.

Registration ends September 20th.If you come across students who seem to be struggling with sleep or have an interest in improving their overall sleep quality, you can direct them to Campus Health’s Sleep Well page to sign-up.

FLU CLINIC

What? Wellness’s annual Flu Vaccine Clinic!

Why? Getting your flu vaccine is the single most effective way to prevent the flu.

When? October 4th-7th, 10am-6:30pm & October 8th 10am-3:00pm

Who? Everyone in the Penn community! Flu vaccines are required for all students, faculty, and staff.

Details: Flu vaccines are required for all students, faculty, and staff this year. The 2021 Flu Clinic will be held in Gimbel Gym (Pottruck Health & Fitness Center) on Monday October 4th through Friday October 8th.
