Laboratory of Dr. Anna Pluciennik
Start Date- As soon as possible
Salary – commensurate with postdoctoral years
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow for the laboratory of Dr. Anna Pluciennik in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Pluciennik’s laboratory uses cross-disciplinary approaches to study the involvement of DNA repair systems in triplet repeat instability in relationship to neurodegeneration. A newly funded project to investigate the role of DNA repair systems in Huntington’s disease pathophysiology using biochemical and cell biology systems will provide robust training and broad opportunities for a productive fellowship in an exciting and impactful area of research.
Competitive candidates will have a recent PhD, and experience in molecular biology, biochemistry or cell biology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
