Our group is interested in comparative analyses of normal lymphocyte development and malignant transformation towards leukemia. Our research involves experiments with primary human leukemia cells, leukemia and stem cell transplantation models, mouse genetics, gene editing, genetic biosensors of signal transduction, optogenetics, classical molecular and cell biology.
The main research interests in the Wu Lab are to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the development, disease, and senescence of heart cells, and to develop potential therapeutic strategies to rectify pathogenesis and aging in the heart.
