Fels Institute for Cancer Research – Postdoctoral Position

The Fels Institute for Cancer Research is a prestigious research institute affiliated with the Temple University School of Medicine, with a strong focus in epigenetics, signaling and cancer. There is an open postdoctoral position to investigate sex biases in cancer susceptibility and progression, using cell lines and mouse models.

Applicants must have a Ph.D., a background in epigenetics, and proficiency in a range of cell/developmental biology, molecular, immunological, and genomic techniques, including experience in tissue culture, flow cytometry, DNA methylation analysis, and chromatin immunoprecipitation.

Experience with mice is required. Excellent oral and written English language skills are essential. Basic bioinformatic skills are a plus. Candidate should be highly motivated, creative, with strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as in collaborative research efforts. Applicants must have at least 1 first author publication from his/her PhD training.
