Dear BGS Students:
At the start of a new semester in an academic year marked by change and uncertainty, the Penn Libraries continues to adapt to the “new normal” created by COVID-19, developing innovative ways to support and facilitate scholarship and research.
As your librarian, I can help you navigate Library resources to find exactly what you need, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Get an overview of resources available this spring on our blog and/or read on for some highlights.
The Libraries provides services to support remote teaching, research, and learning. Find information on accessing digital content, collaborating with research partners, and directly consulting with librarians.
Penn faculty, students, and staff can request books for pickup on the ground floor of the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Books by Mail
Books can be shipped to current Penn students, faculty, and staff within North America.
Borrowing from Partner Libraries
The Penn Libraries can help you obtain print and electronic materials from our network of partner libraries through services including BorrowDirect, E-ZBorrow, and InterLibrary Loan.
Request Digital Delivery
Request scans of book chapters and journal articles in the collections of the Penn Libraries—and select partner libraries—for your research.
Starting February 1, all current students may reserve a seat to study in the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center. This includes undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Patrons must comply with Penn’s COVID-19 testing protocols and show both a confirmed reservation and a PennOpen Green pass, valid for the day of their reservation, for entry.
