The New Jersey Public Health and Environmental Laboratories has two fellowship opportunities beginning this spring at their Ewing, New Jersey campus. See their description below:
“We have received funding through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Epidemiology Laboratory Capacity COVID supplemental fund to support two, two-year fellowships.
Our 160,000 square foot facility is located on the NJ State Police campus, and houses public health laboratories dedicated to support newborn screening for genetic abnormalities, biothreat response, foodborne, waterborne and vectorborne surveillance and outbreak response, biomonitoring for environmental chemical contaminants, chemical terrorism response, medicinal marijuana testing, water testing in compliance with NJ Clean Water act, and to support clinical testing needs in vulnerable communities. New Jersey Departments of Agriculture and Environmental Protection also have laboratories on campus.”
